🚓🤝 Building Trust, Strengthening Partnerships: Valley & Larkswood Community Day of Action (Met Engage) with Support from Met Volunteers

Valley and Larkswood Safer Neighbourhood Team officers, led by Sergeant Qureshi and supported by four dedicated Met Volunteers, carried out another successful Day of Action across Hurst Avenue/Close and Normanshire Drive, E4.

👮‍♀️ Leading from the front, Sergeant Qureshi showed that no job is too big or too small, spending the day speaking directly with residents, listening to concerns, discussing local priorities, and ensuring community voices remain at the heart of neighbourhood policing.

🚪🏘️ Alongside officers and Met Volunteers, Sergeant Qureshi took part in extensive door-to-door engagement, building trust, strengthening community partnerships, and encouraging residents to play an active role in shaping local policing priorities.

📱✅ A key focus of the day was promoting Met Engage – the Metropolitan Police's community messaging platform. Residents were encouraged to sign up to receive updates directly from their local officers, stay informed about issues affecting their area, and have a greater say in the policing priorities that matter most to them.

👏 The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many residents signing up on the day and welcoming the opportunity to connect directly with their local neighbourhood policing team.
